RUGBY 101… ABSA CURRIE CUP FINALS 2013 ACTION! The lowdown + cool pics! The Sharks were crowned the 2013 winners of   the ABSA Currie Cup on 26 October 2013, after a win of 33-19 against Western Province at Newlands Rugby Stadium.  The finals was certainly an action-packed yet, nail-biting, 80-minute encounter. The pre-hype ahead of the game was crazy! Rugby fans dressed in their favourite teams gear, were certainly amped! The Kaapse Klopse kept fans entertained with traditional songs, as they made their way into the stadium. Music legend, Johnny Clegg graced the stage with his popular hits such as Spirit Of The Great Heart . Cheerleaders also entertained the crowd with their moves like jagger.
