Local award-winning Cape Town performer, Waseef Piekaan always wanted to have his own show at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town, today he is living his dream, through his own show Wrongly Accused, back on at the Baxter Masambe Theatre for the festive season.

Q and A...
1.Two things people don't know about you? 
My father doesn't own a farm, and I am very religious.
2.Do you ever get nervous when on stage?
No, but Tuesday night you intimidated me a bit. I only get nervous when people do not laugh.
3.What has been your most embarrassing moment on stage thus far?
On the 2nd December 2013, I got booed off stage when performing, because people were angry and too anticipated when they delayed the switching on of the lights festival.
Most memorable performance thus far? 
My most memorable performance was at the Edinburgh Festival, I got to perform with the Vocal is Lekker cast. It is my biggest achievement yet , at the same time it was life changing and scary performing to 27 000 people .
5.Besides performing what else are you involved with? 
I direct, write and produce quite a number of community shows, and I also manage a boy band called Shy.

7.If you could choose between acting,directing, comedy what would it be? Comedy is my first love.
Message to aspiring performers? Dream bigger than your biggest dream.
