The Baxter Theatre Golden Arrow Studio provides a very intimate setting for the astounding production, making it more captivating. Characters are based on real people. Theo, a chef, has been invited to cook at a celebrity's wedding that will be covered by Top Billing and his best friend, Mau, an aspiring rapper, agrees to help him get there if he can perform. After eventually embarking onto the train on PLATFORM 9 at Cape Town Station, the two friends are en route to Park Station, Johannesburg. However, the two friends are faced with obstacles along the way, where they meet a variety of unique characters traveling to somewhere in our country.

A few things people do not know about you?
Theodore: I am left-handed.
Maurice: I am rapper. I started rapping five years ago, when I realized that I want to venture into other projects as well.
Are there any similarities\differences between the characters you play?
Theodore: Moving to Johannesburg is something we can relate to. We experienced it. Those qualities such as excitement and keeping that dream alive and visioning it. I can't cook to save my life.
Maurice: I am the cook. I can make anything besides breyani.
What were some of the challenges involved in putting the production together?
Theodore: We producing it ourselves. We have our own production company. We still learning. Everything is a learning curve. I think we're doing okay.
Have you guys always wanted to be actors on TV?
Maurice: No, I had no idea. I got an opportunity to study. Not fame. That was not on the list. We did not know what fame was. We came to learn about it. We were mainly chasing to perform at the Baxter Theatre. When we came to see Kat and the Kings, we told each other that one day we going to perform here.
Theodore: We were just thinking theatre. Not TV or film.
Have you always wanted to be famous?
Maurice: No, it came as a surprise.
Theodore: When we started doing TV, yes it was overwhelming, but not in a way that we were like wow this it. Fame will never be our focus. I don't like the fact that people only see your TV work, that's why I do theatre to show my versatility.
What's it like to work with Christo Davids?
Theodore: Lekker, he has got am amazing writing talent. He is a story-teller. He has got a genius mind when it comes to stories. He knows what his audience wants.
Craziest fan moments?
Theodore: An old lady flirted with me.
Maurice: A lady who I do not know, claimed
to be my girlfriend on Fashion TV.

Things to do in Cape Town:
Maurice: The first thing I do is go to Golden Dish and buy a masala steak gatsby. I catch up with my friends and family.
Theodore: I spend most of my time with family, because I don't get time to see them often in Johannesburg. Many people think we party a lot but we're chilled.

Will there be a Platform 9 part three anytime soon?
Theodore: Maybe in two years time. Platform 9 - Two Park Station will still be performed throughout the country in 2016.
Platform 9 - Two Park Station runs until 16 January 2016 at the Baxter Theatre's Golden Arrow Studio at 8:15 pm nightly. The production is performed in Afrikaans with some English. Tickets, cost R110 for regular performances.
