SAMW 2016 - South African Menswear Week 2016

The fourth installment of SA Menswear week SS16 was held from the 6th-9th July 2016 at Cape Town Stadium. Some of the countries top  designers strutted their stuff on the catwalk including Imprint, 2bop and Magents.
I got the opportunity to report from the red carpet for a TV show called What's Happening CPT.

From left: Kayeezi from GHFM and Craig Joshua from What's Happening CPT on Cape Town TV.
I really had too much fun interviewing celebrities and designers such as Jimmy Nevis and Chad Saaiman.

Check out some of my favourite trends from SAMW SS16 collection!

Wide-leg pants are a must.

White is a definite staple colour this season.

Ladies wear worn as menswear.

Shorts are getting shorter.

Flip-flops and socks are back.
Dark denim jeans all the way.

Cropped pants are getting shorter.

If you got it, by all means flaunt it.

Dare to be different? Go pink.

Blazers are bolder.

Sandals, yes please.

Own your look with soft and shiny fabric.
Do not be afraid to rock the man bag trend
